John Deere is introducing three new, more compact models to both the 6M and 6R Series tractor ranges. Built in Mannheim, the new 6MC and 6RC tractors have been designed specifically for medium size arable, livestock and mixed farms, and are also suitable for local authorities and other professional grounds and turf care customers.
The next generation of John Deere’s 5M Series tractors has been designed to meet the needs of small and medium size livestock, arable, mixed and speciality farms. The range consists of four higher horsepower models from 75 to 115hp and features Stage III B compliant engine technology.
John Deere’s new 7R Series tractors for 2014 feature more powerful engines and a new top of the range model. The new line-up will consist of six models delivering 210, 230, 250, 270, 290 and 310hp at rated engine speed. The flagship 7310R will be available in limited numbers from spring 2014 and will feature a new Stage IV compliant engine, while all the other 7R Series tractors will be powered by John Deere’s proven diesel-only technology.
Launched two years ago, John Deere FarmSight consists of three key elements: John Deere machinery, intelligent AMS precision farming technology and innovative dealer services. Delivered through the dealer network, John Deere FarmSight Services can produce tangible results and provide customer value by increasing machine uptime and reducing operating costs.
With its new line-up of small tractors, John Deere is addressing the needs of the small-scale farming sector, from arable, livestock and mixed farms to speciality crop producers and even part-time farmers. These models include the 4M and 5E Series three- and four-cylinder tractors from 49 to 95hp.
