    John Deere’s new mid-specification M-Series trailed sprayer range makes its working debut at Cereals 2014, in the Sprays & Sprayers demonstration arena.

    John Deere’s high-specification M900i and R900i Series trailed sprayers will be available in 2014 with a new optional in-cab nozzle control system. This allows the operator to switch between a choice of two spray nozzles on the move, at the touch of a screen on the tractor’s GreenStar display. The system will be featured for the first time on the John Deere stand at Cereals 2014 in June.

    It has frequently been used for final qualifying rounds for The Open Championships played at Royal Troon and Turnberry, and has hosted the Curtis Cup and eight Scottish Amateur Championships. Jim Devlin has been course manager here for 14 years, and over that time has built up the course maintenance fleet to the stage where he and his team of seven greenkeepers now have the right mix of machinery to look after the course the way they and club like it.
